    Why does Lennie like to pet things so much?

    1. I think they shared their dream to Crooks because they feel bad about Crooks, since Crooks talks about his loneliness.

      Lennie likes to touch soft things, such as the dress from Weed and Curley's wife's hair.

      It might look like George wants Lennie gone, it's just George feeling stressed about their lack of a job

  3. Do you think it was possible for this story's events to happen at a separate place or time (setting)?
    What do you think was going through Lennie's head at the time when he was hallucinating? Do you think he was feeling remorse, or maybe just mentally preparing himself for what George could have said?
    Why does it look like Slim was more comforting than Curly and Carlson when they discovered George and a dead Lennie?
